Date: 19th Nov | Location: The QMU | Time: Door 6:30, Show 7:00
Knock Knock – Written and directed by Lewis Cooper, assistant directed by Kate Boylan
In the year 2383, a hopeful group of humans hailing from the planet 'Thera', humanity's second home, are searching the cosmos for a third habitable planet for the human race. But when their cryogenically frozen passenger unexpectedly wakes up and the ship breaks down, amidst all the chaos, their attention shifts to an ominous knocking sound that just won't stop...
Content warnings: memory loss, mentions of death, strong language, mild and implied violence, and distressing and continuous knocking throughout the duration of the play.
Plus One – Co-written and co-directed by Ross Thompson and Hamish Swinton
Plus One is a comedy about two friends who go to a wedding in order to cheer one of them up. However as the wedding goes on more and more things go awry and the pair finds themselves in the middle of nowhere surrounded by strangers who they have wronged. Arguing over whether to make amends or just cut their losses and escape. What will they do when faced with no other choice? What will they realise about the foundation of their friendship along the way?
Content warnings: strong language and mentions of death
Snapshot – Written and directed by Grace Murray, assistant directed by Anjali Russel
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gather ‘round for a one night only, one of a kind spectacular! Our humble company presents to you the tale of a shadowy figure, who stalks the streets of Glasgow with a single-minded obsession: to capture the ultimate expression of beauty (or to achieve massive career success - whichever comes first).
