Student Theatre at Glasgow is proud to present The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
STAG cordially invites you to a playful, cabaret-style twist on a classic story: The Importance of Being Earnest is a farcical romp set in Victorian England, following the misadventures of wealthy bachelors Algernon Moncrieff and Jack Worthing as they assume false identities to catch the attention of two eligible young ladies, Cecily Cardew and Gwendolen Fairfax. When their disguises land them into heaps of trouble, the lovers are thrust into a tumultuous comedy of errors, filled with revelry, roguery and romance.
