James Orphan thanks the bus driver through gritted teeth and steps into the darkness. He is truly in the sticks: in that 'dreadful place,' the countryside. Trying to convince his girlfriend Eilidh to return with him to the big city proves more difficult than he bargained for. Like that old ancient woman at the bus stop warns him, he is soon overwhelmed by old flames, new encounters and accidental murder. Will Eilidh have a change of heart? Will James be able to leave STYX at all?
